The Role 

We’re hiring a Cloud Automation Sorcerer—a Senior DevOps Engineer who treats infrastructure as a canvas and automation as their wand. Your mission: Architect, secure, and scale the backbone of our AI systems on GCP, ensuring they run faster, smarter, and more elegantly than physics should allow.

What You’ll Conjure 

• Infrastructure as Incantations: Cast Terraform spells to provision GCP resources (Compute Engine GPU clusters, Cloud Run services, GKE clusters) with precision.
• CI/CD Alchemy: Design Google Cloud Build pipelines so seamless, deployments feel like teleportation.
• Kubernetes Mastery: Optimize GKE clusters for AI workloads, autoscaling, and self-healing microservices.
• Guardian of the Cloud Realm: Secure IAM policies, Artifact Registry vaults, and PostgreSQL fortresses (Cloud SQL) like a cryptographic sentinel.
• Performance Wizardry: Optimize Node.js backends (Express), Python data pipelines, and React frontends (Vite/TypeScript) to handle traffic spikes like a black hole absorbs light.
• Collaborative Enchantment: Partner with AI engineers and full-stack mages to turn chaotic code into production-grade magic.

Key Responsibilities 

*Build & Scale: Automate GCP environments (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage) to support AI workloads that chew through petabytes.
*CI/CD Mastery: Craft pipelines with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux) and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana).
*Security First: Harden IAM roles, secrets management (Vault), and network policies until they’re Fort Knox-meets-Asgard.
*Container Sorcery: Streamline Docker and Kubernetes orchestration for zero-downtime deployments.
*Hybrid Stack Fluency: Juggle Node.js microservices, Python data pipelines, and React frontends without breaking a sweat.
*Global Resilience: Ensure systems survive traffic tsunamis, latency gremlins, and the occasional AI-induced singularity.

• Spellbook: Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build
• Cloud Realm: GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, Artifact Registry, GKE)
• Languages: Python, Bash, YAML, TypeScript (bonus points for incantations in Go)

• Experience: 5+ years of DevOps wizardry, with 2+ years mastering GCP and Kubernetes.

• Automation Obsession: You’ve automated so much, your coworkers suspect you’ve cloned yourself.
• Battle Scars: Survived production outages, scaled systems to >1M RPM, and debugged Kubernetes clusters in your sleep.
